Mother of Believers:-
Aisha was six when she was married to Muhammad of fifty one years. He consummated his marriage with her when she was nine years old and he, fifty four years.
He died at 63 when she was just eighteen. Yet this teenager, is called the
" Mother of the Believers" in emulation of the status of Mary as the
" Mother of God" and hence of all Christians.

I was the leader of the delegation of Banu al-Muntafiq or (the narrator doubted) I was among the delegation of Banu al-Muntafiq that came to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). When we reached the Prophet, we did not find him in his house. We found there Aisha, the Mother of the Believers. She ordered that a dish called Khazirah should be prepared for us. It was then prepared. A tray containing dates was then presented to us. (The narrator Qutaybah did not mention the word qina', tray). …..

I asked 'Aisha, mother of the believers, "O mother of the believers! How were the deeds of the Prophet? Did he use to do extra deeds of worship on special days?" She said, "No, but his deeds were regular and constant, and who among you is able to do what the Prophet was able to do (i.e. in worshipping Allah)?"
